NYU’s Center for the Study of Antisemitism will use an interdisciplinary approach to examine new ways to confront anti-Jewish hatred, while building a center of engaged scholarship and education.
-
The Center will bring together scholars from across disciplines — including the humanities, social sciences, Judaic Studies, history, social work, public policy, psychology, law, sociology, media studies, management, and public health.
-
In addition to serving as a hub for the scholarly study of antisemitism, the new Center is expected to be a home for vibrant, timely public programming — in New York City and across NYU’s global network.
-
The Center is expected to collaborate with other academic centers and organizations whose work aligns with its mission and core activities, including working closely with NYU’s Skirball Department of Hebrew and Judaic Studies.
